Privacy policy
Last updated 16 September 2026. Short, specific, and free of boilerplate you would never read.
1. What we collect
Three things: the URLs you check and their results, your account details (name, email, hashed password), and basic usage data such as request counts and error logs. Nothing more than the service needs.
2. Checks without an account
You can run a check without signing up. We still log the URL and the result briefly to prevent abuse and fix failures, but it is not tied to a person.
3. Why we hold it
To return your results, show your history, enforce plan limits, bill correctly, and keep the service standing up under load. That is the whole list.
4. Cookies
We set a session cookie so you stay signed in, and we measure aggregate traffic. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data.
5. Who else sees it
Only the providers that run the service: hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and the search engines we query on your behalf. They act on our instructions and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
6. We do not sell your data
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Your URL list is commercially sensitive and we treat it that way.
7. How long we keep it
Check history stays while your account is open. Delete your account and we remove your personal data within 30 days, keeping only what tax and accounting law requires.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from the dashboard, or by asking us. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to object and to complain to your data protection authority.
9. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and API keys are revocable at any time. No system is perfect, so keep your keys private and rotate them if you suspect exposure.
10. Changes
If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we will say so in the dashboard before it takes effect.
