Terms of service

1. Who we are
Indexing Checker provides tools that report whether pages appear in public search indexes, read robots directives, and submit URLs for discovery. Using the site means you accept these terms.
2. Accounts
You need an account for history, batches and API access. Keep your credentials and API keys private. You are responsible for activity carried out with them.
3. Legitimate use only
Use our tools on sites you own, manage, or have permission to work on. Do not use them to probe, scrape or map sites you have no relationship with, to support spam, cloaking, malware or deceptive content, or to break any law that applies to you.
4. Suspension
We may suspend or close any account that breaks these terms, abuses plan limits, threatens the stability of the service, or triggers complaints from a search engine. Where it is reasonable we will warn you first. Where it is not, we will act and then explain.
5. Fair use
Plan limits keep the service fast for everyone. Do not resell raw access, run automated scraping beyond your plan, or route third-party traffic through your key.
6. Accuracy and limits
We check both URL search and site:URL and have observed fewer than 1% inaccuracies. Search engines do not provide a completely reliable public lookup, so a small number of results may still be inaccurate. We do not guarantee that any page will be indexed.
7. No guarantee the tools keep working
Our tools depend on systems we do not control. Search engines change their results, their APIs and their rules without notice, and a method that works today can stop working tomorrow. We fix things quickly when that happens, but we cannot promise any specific check, engine or feature will stay available.
8. Submission is a request
Submitting a URL asks a search engine to consider the page. It is never a guarantee of inclusion, ranking or timing. No tool can promise otherwise.
9. Billing
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Credit packs are one-off purchases and do not expire. Cancel any time from the dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid period.
10. Refunds
If the service does not work as described, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. Monthly plans are refundable in that window when usage is low; beyond it we cancel the renewal rather than refund the period already used. Unused credits from a credit pack are refundable pro rata within 30 days of purchase. Credits already spent, and charges on an account closed for breaking these terms, are not refundable.
11. Your data
We store the URLs you check, your results and your account details to run the service. We do not sell your data. You can delete your account and its data from the dashboard. Our privacy policy explains the detail.
12. Availability
We aim for continuous service but do not promise uninterrupted uptime. Maintenance, engine changes or upstream outages may interrupt checks.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for lost traffic, revenue or rankings.
14. Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard before they take effect.
